Ernie Pyle Elementary School staff and students are extending a huge thank you to the Western Indiana Community Foundation members for their generous donation to the SV elementary music program. They recently awarded a grant for $1,600 to the program for purchasing ukuleles. Thank you to Ms. Demi Beuligmann for writing the grant!

The Junior Optimist Club of Ernie Pyle is hosting a Food Drive beginning on November 1st. We will be collecting non-perishable food items & canned goods through November 18th. Students are bringing home a copy of the flyer today.

South Vermillion High School will be hosting a Trunk or Treat in the student parking lot on Fri., Sept. 28th from 6-7:30. (This will be after the Trunk or Treat at Ernie Pyle).

Red Ribbon Week is the week AFTER Fall Break. Monday through Friday, October 24-28th, we will have a different dress-up day each day. Please see the attached flyer for details.
Also, on Mon., Oct. 31st, students will be able to dress up like their favorite book character.
