Mrs. Foster began her teaching career at Southeast Fountain Elementary in 1991, where she taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades. In 1999, she transitioned into administration, becoming the Principal at Ernie Pyle Elementary. By August 2015, she was leading both Ernie Pyle and Van Duyn Elementary schools. In October 2015, Mrs. Foster fully dedicated herself to Van Duyn Elementary, where she served as principal until June 2023. Following the consolidation of the elementary schools, she took on the role of Student Services Coordinator for South Vermillion School Corporation.

Mrs. Foster holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Indiana State University, as well as a School Administration and Educational Specialist degree from the same institution.

Mrs. Foster is deeply passionate about collaborating with families, faculty, staff, and community partners to develop comprehensive support systems that cater to the diverse needs of students.
