naturalization

Indiana Code 20-30-5-7(d) requires the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) to report student data from the naturalization examination to the Indiana General Assembly.

Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, schools are required to report the following information via JotForm each semester or trimester during which students are enrolled in the U.S. Government course.

  1. The number of students who took the naturalization examination,

  2. The number of students who passed the naturalization examination by a score of not less than sixty percent (60%) on their first attempt, and

  3. The pass rate of the naturalization examination regarding the students who participated.

The school must also post results from the naturalization examination to the school’s website no later than November 1, for the previous school year.
