Ronda Foster

At the School Board Meeting on March 24, Ronda Foster was officially approved to take on the role of Assistant Superintendent, effective July 1, 2025. In this position, Mrs. Foster will oversee key areas, including student services, human resources, policies and procedures, school safety, and special education.

Mrs. Foster's journey in education began in 1991 at Southeast Fountain Elementary, where she taught various grades, including 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th. In 1999, she transitioned into administration, assuming the role of Principal at Ernie Pyle Elementary. By August 2015, she was at the helm of both Ernie Pyle and Van Duyn Elementary schools. In October 2015, she dedicated her efforts solely to Van Duyn Elementary, leading the school until June 2023. Following the consolidation of the elementary schools, she embraced the role of Student Services Coordinator for South Vermillion School Corporation.

Mrs. Foster is well-equipped for her new role, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a School Administration and Educational Specialist degree, both from Indiana State University. Her deep commitment to education is evident in her passion for collaborating with families, faculty, staff, and community partners to create comprehensive support systems that address the diverse needs of students.
