Tomorrow is the "Last Look at Ernie Pyle Elementary School". Anyone and everyone is invited to attend from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

Tomorrow is Field Day. It is also "Fabulous School Friday" which means we will wear Ernie Pyle gear. We will receive a new EP Field Day shirt to wear. Thank you for participating in the Mental Health Awareness Week dress-up days. Please be kind to one another and to yourself!

Tomorrow is Wellness Wednesday! Be sure to wear exercise clothes to school tomorrow for Mental Health Awareness Week. It's also BLUE day for spirit day, so it's even better if you can wear BLUE exercise clothes.

Tomorrow is Tie-Dye Tuesday! Dress in your favorite tie-dye apparel to support Mental Health Awareness Week.

Attention: The Jr. Optimist field trip for Monday, May 8th is cancelled due to weather. Details about a possible, future date will come soon. All students will come home their "normal" way this evening directly after dismissal.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week at Ernie Pyle! It is so important to take care of your mental health in the same way you do your physical health! A green ribbon is the international symbol of mental health awareness. Don't forget to wear GREEN tomorrow to show that we care about our own mental health and the well-being of those around us!

This week (May 8th - 12th) we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week at Ernie Pyle. We are thankful to all of our teachers for everything they do for our students. Be sure to thank your child's teacher sometime this week!

Happy School Lunch Hero today to our cafeteria staff. We are so thankful to them for feeding our students and staff!

One week from tomorrow (Saturday, May 13, 2023), is the "Last Look at Ernie Pyle Elementary School". This event is open to the public. We encourage all past and present Ernie Pyle Trojans to attend!

Afterschool care with Kim Milam is cancelled for today. She is going to notify the parents of students who stay with her after school but we're helping her get the word out. If this message pertains to you, please let us know by 1:00 p.m. what the new arrangements are for your child.

Don't forget to wear your Ernie Pyle gear tomorrow! (Students may wear their Ernie Pyle hat that they received a few weeks ago. That is the only hat that is allowed on Ernie Pyle Fridays). The class with the most spirit points from Wednesday and Friday will earn a pizza party!

May 8th - 12th is Mental Health Awareness Week at Ernie Pyle. We will be dressing up each day to help bring awareness of the importance of taking care of our mental health in the same way we do our physical health.

Running Club at Ernie Pyle has come to an end.  Last night was the last meeting.   Please plan accordingly as your student will be coming home on Wednesday, May 10, and May 17 as there will be no running club on either day.
