🍋📖Our One School One Book project is underway in our 3 elementary schools this month. All students and staff are reading The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies. A summary from bookrags.com states, "This fictional novel addresses the complex relationship between brothers and sisters, as well as how arguments can spiral out of control when people quit communicating with each other. In the end, the siblings realize that working together is better than working against each other." 🍋📚Our students are learning the basics of economics, entrepreneurial skills, marketing, competition, and even forgiveness while reading this book at home with their families (or by listening to the chapter recordings via Canvas). 4th grade girls' basketball has been cancelled for today. Miss Kilgore sent a message to parents just before 1:00 p.m.

Tomorrow is the last day of the Great Kindness Challenge. We will be wearing our pajamas to school! Friday's theme is "Kindness makes us feel warm & fuzzy".

Tomorrow, we are wearing tie-dyed clothing OR clothing with peace signs for the Great Kindess Challenge. Thursday's theme is "Peace, Love & Kindness".

"Workout conflicts with Kindness!" That's the theme of our Great Kindness Challenge for tomorrow! On Wednesday, be sure to wear your favorite workout or sports gear.

5th grade girls' basketball practice has been cancelled for today after school. Your daughter will go home after school today the way she normally does (bus, car, etc.)

Tuesday's Great Kindness Challenge is "Be kind to someone different than you" which means we are wearing mismatched clothing tomorrow!

Tomorrow starts the week of the Great Kindness Challenge (GKC). We are going to "double or multiply our kindness" at Ernie Pyle on Monday so be sure to dress like a friend or a group of friends.

Don't forget that the Great Kindness Challenge (GKC) is all week this week! January 23-27th, we will participate in the GKC. See the attached flyer for themed dress-up days.

Please remember that girls basketball practice is over at 3:45 p.m. 5th grade - Tuesdays 4th grade - Wednesdays 3rd grade - Thursdays All three days, practice ends at 3:45 p.m. Please be sure to pick up your daughter at the main entrance at this time. Thank you.
