Robotics Team Competes at Indianapolis

The middle school robotics team went out for their last state qualifying competition in Indianapolis last Saturday. The competition was intense with 30 teams from all around the state. SVMS Danger Zone placed 21st finishing their season with a BIG score growth! Great job, team! The SVMS Nerd Herd and SVMS Classy Goats made it into the event finals to compete for the Teamwork Challenge win. The Nerd Herd finished 5th while The Classy Goats took 1st place! The Classy Goats also earned the Excellence award which is a coveted award for any team. The 1st place finish and the award earned them a spot in the state finals at Lucas OIl Stadium. Both the Classy Goats and the Nerd Herd will compete at Lucas OIl in the state finals on March 25.
