The SVMS Nerd Herd Robotics Team competed at the Vex World Finals in Dallas, Texas last week after earning the Create Award at the Indiana State Vex Robotics Finals hosted by Techpoint of Indiana. At Worlds, they competed with teams from around the world which provided them with an incredible cultural experience. Students were required to devise a plan to effectively communicate with teams that did not speak their language in order to have a successful teamwork experience. In Teamwork Challenges, SVMS Nerd Herd finished 54th in one of the highest-scoring divisions at the middle school World Finals putting them in the top 300 of 787 teams around the world.
