South Vermillion Middle School

A seventh grade team at  South Vermilion Middle School  competed in the Indiana CSforGood Finals at the Indiana State House on December 6, 2023.  Evan Hrovat, Isaac Pope,  Cody Tribuzio, Reed Taylor, and Colten James  competed in the finals with a physical computing project called iPad Secure Locker. Their product is smaller and much more affordable than metal based device lockers and contains a sound and light alarm to notify a parent or teacher if a student tries to take the iPad that is locked away. They were then provided the opportunity to speak to Governor Holcomb about their project.   Congratulations to this seventh grade computer science team!
