Indiana CSforGood State Finals

Three of our SVMS Computer Science Inventor teams were invited to participate in the Indiana CSforGood State finals competition at the Indiana Statehouse. Brady Houser and Chad Mize presented a Medicine Cabinet Security System (CabMed) designed for elderly populations. Dannica Berry, Jaeden Doan, Leland Drake, and Aaden Boatman presented a school-focused clothing swap app (Cat Swap) designed for the school nurse. Blake Buckingham, Catherine Adamson, Avery Conner, and Jaelyn Creasey presented a Mental Health Check In App (Mental Matter) integrating artificial intelligence that was designed for our school counselor. Judges were industry leaders in computer science. All projects were developed using the problem solving process, algorithmic design, and computer programming.
