The Clinton Breakfast Optimist Club sponsored and area-wide speech and essay contest, recently. Deveon George, Karoline Fortner, and Jaelynn Rowe from SVMS competed in the speech contest and Deveon won third place. He will now advance to the district competition. The results of the essay competition were also announced. Riley Myers came in second and will advance to the district competition. Amelia Gibson earned third place. We would like to congratulate these SVMS students for their success!
