Good morning! With the likelihood of inclement weather today, we wanted to communicate with all SVCS families the POSSIBILITY of an early dismissal. We are excited to now have the Robotics & Automation modules from @PLTWorg in Grade 5 this year. Students are building and testing mobile robots in their STEAM class thanks to a grant from The Giacoletto Foundation. #ProjectLeadTheWay #PLTW

Calling all 5th grade parents! Please start making plans now to get your 5th grader up-to-date on their 6th grade vaccinations by August 2024!

🏠Families: Please update your Residency Information under Online Registration in Harmony Family Access for each child enrolled in our district. You completed this form during fall enrollment, and new federal guidelines require this form to be submitted a second time in January. Thank you for helping us keep our student records up-to-date.

The South Vermillion Community School Corporation will host the "Wildcat Winter Wonderland", a community event, this Sunday evening, December 3rd, from 4:00 - 7:00 at South Vermillion High School. Parking will be on the south end of the main student parking lot on the east side of the high school. The SVMS and SVHS band, choir, and dance teams will be performing throughout the evening. There will be a variety of activities set up for the whole family: Santa Claus and a live reindeer will be available for pictures, s'more roasting, hot chocolate and pastries, a coloring tent hosted by The National Honor Society, and a variety of vendors will be set up as well. At the conclusion of the evening, we will light up the season with a tree lighting ceremony in front of the high school. The event is FREE, but donations will be accepted for our arts programs! We hope to see you there! *If the weather does not cooperate, we will move the event inside.

Need health insurance? An ASPIN Health Navigator can help! Shannon Sebastian, ASPIN Health Navigator, will be at The Clinton Public Library on Thursday, November 9 at 11:30 am. She will be giving a presentation that will review services that are offered by ASPIN and different health coverage options available to Hoosiers.
