Winter Break - No School - 12/23/24-1/6/25
Our Winter Break starts when we dismiss at 2:35 p.m. today! Enjoy your winter break and we'll see all of our Vikings on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
This Thursday, Dec. 19th is SV Gives Back Day at Van Duyn! Students may bring $1 for a popsicle. Proceeds benefit the Clinton Optimists' Club.

ATTENTION! We have a LUNCH MENU CHANGE for tomorrow (Thursday , Dec. 12th)! The lunch menu will now be Mac & Cheese, breadstick, salad, fruit & milk.
Our Winter/Christmas program is tomorrow evening at SVHS! See last night's post for times and room assignments.
Reminder! Our Winter Programs will take place on Wed., Dec. 11th in the South Vermillion High School Auditorium. We will have music selections pertaining to winter and some Christmas favorites as well. Students may wear either Christmas or winter colors.
Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students will report to the following rooms starting at 5:15 PM (no later than 5:30) so that we can take attendance and get them lined up and ready for their performance. Kindergarten students should report to room C-23, the early childhood development room. 1st grade students should report to the band room. 2nd grade students should report to the choir room. K-2nd grade students will perform at 5:30 PM. Please wait until all kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students have performed before picking up your child from their designated rooms.
3rd and 4th grade students will report to the following rooms starting at 6:45 PM (no later than 7:00) so that we can take attendance and get them lined up and ready to go for their performance. 3rd grade students should report to the band room. 4th grade students should report to the choir room. Once you have dropped off your student, feel free to be seated in the auditorium. 3rd and 4th grade students will perform at 7:00 PM. Please wait until all 3rd and 4th grade students have performed before picking up your child from their designated rooms.
Our students have worked really hard to put on an amazing performance. We hope to see you there!

Christmas in Clinton is Saturday, Dec. 7th
South Vermillion Schools will operate on a 2-Hour Delay today, Tuesday, December 3rd.
